“What an enormous magnifier is tradition! How a thing grows in the human memory and in the human imagination, when love, worship, and all that lies in the human heart, is there to encourage it” - Thomas Carlyle

Oak Hill School is a unique educational community. Oak Hill students and staff are intelligent, motivated, oftentimes witty, occasionally silly, fierce in academic debate, kind, respectful, friendly, and compassionate about their environment locally and globally.

This community is a catalyst for school spirit and traditions. We love to work hard, but we most definitely love to play hard. Some of our favorite traditions include Oak Hill's:

  • Back to School Faculty Scavenger Hunt
  • Annual Dodgeball Tournament
  • Halloween Parade
  • Junior-Senior Kidnap
  • Pumpkin rolling
  • Spring Fling
  • Talent Show
  • Dia de los Muertos Celebration
  • Snow Day
  • La Posada Celebration
  • The Falcon Dance
  • Senior Prank

Some upcoming events that we anticipate will become traditions include:

  • Asian Harvest Moon Celebration
  • The Oak Hill Decathlon
  • Movie night
  • Sun Day
