“Nine tenths of education is encouragement.” – Anatole France

The middle school years are arguably the most challenging social years for school-age learners.  At the very least, adolescence can interfere with a student’s enthusiasm about school and about himself.  In grades six through eight, Oak Hill’s positive and nurturing learning environment is indispensable.  We maintain strong relationships with students and communicate regularly with parents to address any concerns as they arise.  Thanks to our caring and watchful faculty and the structure of our curriculum, concerns can be addressed as they arise.  As a result, middle school students continue to experience the joy and fun of learning while their parents can continue to have an active role in their child’s education.

The middle school curriculum includes:

  • Language Arts
  • Mathematics
  • History
  • Science
  • Foreign Language – Spanish, Mandarin, and French
  • Arts Electives
  • Academic Electives
  • Physical Education
  • Advising: Character Education and Service Learning
