Financial Aid
Last Updated on 25 March 2010 Written by Lauren Moody
Approximately 40% of our families are on some form of financial aid. When a family qualifies for financial aid, and we have the funding available, we reduce the total tuition a family needs to pay to what they can afford. Based on need, Oak Hill School is typically able to cover up to 65% of the total cost of tuition. This is not a loan: You do not have to pay back the difference. Because times and needs change, however, you do need to reapply for financial aid annually.
Oak Hill School uses a third party service to determine how much aid a family qualifies for. The service is School and Student Services (SSS) through the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). This is a comprehensive financial aid management service, devoted to helping schools help families. Schools and families can access SSS resources and the Parents' Financial Statement on the SSS website at http://www.sss.nais.org
